Get Involved

There are various ways in which you can get involved in the Youth council and what we do:
- Tell us your views – we would love to know your views on the church. What do you like? What do you think could be better? What events would you like to see take place? We welcome ideas for new projects, concerns about the way things are currently and your opinions on matters arising in local and national news. If you know a council member then you can pass on your views through them or, if not, email us at ddyc@hotmail.co.uk.
- Join the council - there is a limit of 20 people set on the council size so that it remains effective and manageable but currently there are some places remaining on the council. If you are interested in becoming a council member then please email us with details of your name, age, parish and reasons for wanting to be on the council. You must be between the ages of 13-25 (inclusive) and worship within Derby Diocese.
- Pray – We’d really value your prayers for the youth council and the work it does. At the moment you may wish to pray especially for our new council leaders who were elected at the June meetingasking that God would guide Tom, Lauren, Andrew and Becky and praying that they would quickly get used to their new roles.
