Council Sleepover 5 Dec 08
We decided to round off 2008 with a meeting followed by a Youth Council Social. We had a meeting discussing the positives and negatives of holding a youth council residential in the new year and decided that we could have a residential sometime in February involving media and representation training and youth council planning for the next year. We also discussed how the youth council could become more environmentally friendly and decided that we would write a document of commitment to being more ‘green’ which Lauren is going to draft for our next meeting.
After the formal meeting we had pizza and enjoyed playing games and taking the youth council quiz (which the chair and vice chair Lizzie and Tom managed to come equal first in!). We then watched Pirates of the Caribean before getting some sleep. It was a good way to end a good year for the youth council.
